Location: The Oast Care Home, 2 Plains Avenue, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 7AT
Contracted hours: 44 Hour Contract, These hours are made up of Senior shifts 2 x 11 hr and then 3 office shifts to make up the other 22 hours. Will Include working Alternative Weekends as a Senior.
Salary: £15.00 Per Hour
Charing Healthcare has been providing care since 1998. We are a proactive company with family origins and now have 10 care homes across Kent and Medway. We work in partnership with Kent and Medway council together with the local NHS for some services that we offer. The Oast Care Home in Maidstone Kent provides high quality care for up to 27 residents who have Dementia.

Responsibilities of the Deputy Manager Role:
- The deputy will work on the floor as part of the "hands on team" as required, to monitor and report back to the manager information on staff performance and resident’s needs.
- She/he will be rota’d on some shifts to ensure above aim is met with some hours as supernumerary to support the Manager.
- To maintain an awareness of all routines of the home and adhere to these where appropriate.
Requirements of the Deputy Manager Role:
- Must be prepared to pick up shifts where required for the needs of the home
- Must have at least 2 years' experience in a Care Home for people with Dementia
- Must have experience of Managing Staff
- Level 3 in H&SC and be prepared to work towards Level 5 Diploma
- Must be computer literate
