Location: Chippendayle Lodge, 10 Chippendayle Drive, Harrietsham, Maidstone, Kent, ME17 1AD

Contracted hours: 40 Hour Contract

Salary: ÂŁ58,000 per annum

Employer: Charing Healthcare has been providing care since 1998. We are a proactive company with family origins and now have 10 care homes across Kent and Medway. We work in partnership with Kent and Medway council together with the local NHS for some services that we offer. Chippendayle Lodge Care Home provides high quality Residential care for up to 50 residents who live with dementia.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and support staff with the creation and maintenance of care plans and risk assessments that are “person centred” and ensure these are followed and evaluated at regular intervals.
  • Maintain effective communication with service users and their relatives.
  • Deal with complaints, grievances and disciplinary action and record appropriately, making full use of our employment legal advisor where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • At least one year’s experience in managing a care home is essential.
  • Must be a driver with own transport.
