Location: Woodside Care Home, Whitfield Hill, Dover, Kent, CT16 3BE

Contracted hours: 35 hours per week, may occasionally include some weekend days

Hourly rate of pay: £12.75 per hour

Charing Healthcare has been providing care since 1998. We are a proactive company with family origins and now have 10 care homes across Kent and Medway. We work in partnership with Kent and Medway council together with the local NHS for some services that we offer. Woodside Care Home in Dover Kent provides high quality care for up to 40 residents who have Dementia.

Responsibilities of the Activity Assistant Role:

  • Provide a range of structured activities to engage people and stimulate them socially.
  • Promote a warm and relaxed environment in which people can be supported to enjoy themselves and feel valued.

Requirements of the Activity Assistant Role:

  • Previous experience in Care or activity assistant preferred but not essential.
