The Role:
To help continue to grow our activity in the UK & Ireland, ChargeGuru is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Residential Charging Coordinator to join our expanding team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of our home EV charger installations, providing a seamless experience for our customers and installation partners. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations (UK & Ireland), you’ll also work closely with the wider team and will have direct interaction with our international Global Design team, when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on quotations and be available for customer queries prior to the customer confirming their order via our Customer Portal.
- Coordinate the end-to-end operational process for residential EV charging installations, from order confirmation to successful completion and handover.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling, installation progress, and requirements, ensuring excellent communication throughout.
- Schedule and coordinate installations effectively with our network of approved third-party installation partners.
- Provide first-line support for customer and installer queries related to scheduling and processes, and escalate technical issues as needed.
- Compile, manage, and maintain all necessary documentation for each installation project, ensuring that records are kept up to date in our systems.
- Monitor installation progress, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively work towards solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our residential installation processes, systems, and overall customer experience.
About You:

- A taste for challenges and taking responsibility within a fast-growing, exciting, European-wide organisation.
- Proven experience in a coordination, scheduling, administration, or customer service role, ideally within a technical service or installation environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with experience liaising with customers and external partners.
- Confidence in working collaboratively across different teams to achieve shared goals.
- A rigorous, autonomous, and detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g. Google Suite) and comfortable learning new CRM or scheduling systems.
- An interest in the electric vehicle market, EV charging technology, renewable energy, or the Energy Transition is preferable!
- A desire to learn, develop, and progress within an exciting and challenging industry.
