Required Qualifications as per the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS) Qualification Guide (as amended)

  • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations: BS 7671 (as amended)
  • Level 3 Award in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial locations, or equivalent.
  • Core Technical Competence in Electrotechnical Work
  • Route 1 - Level 3 Electrotechnical Apprenticeship, or equivalent, incorporating end point assessment of competence.
  • Route 3 - Experienced Worker

Required Experience

  • Previous experience installing PVC trunking
  • Working with and terminating Twin & Earth cable and 6mm 3-core Hi‑tuff
  • Installation and termination of SWA up to and including 6mm 3-core
  • Previous experience installing Henley/Lucy blocks to split single phase 100A mains supply
  • Surveying for and installing domestic earth rods
  • Simple cable containment installation (steel tray and trunking)
