Charcoalblue is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join our team in a high-impact role supporting finance operations in this growing international business. You are a high-caliber professional who enjoys business partnering and is equipped to manage both sides of the finance coin: maintaining impeccable financial control and compliance, while providing meaningful analysis to inform our international growth strategy.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a central role in delivering accurate reporting, improving financial processes, and providing insight that supports better decision-making. You will also work closely with colleagues across the business and contribute to planning, audit, and growth-related activity, making this a varied and visible position with real scope to add value.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing financial reporting including management accounts
  • Overseeing core finance operations, including ledgers, reconciliations, cash handling, payroll, and compliance processes
  • Providing clear financial analysis and commentary to support senior stakeholders and business unit leads
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, audit activity, and wider group finance planning
  • Helping improve reporting quality, strengthen controls, and drive process efficiency across the finance function
  • Contributing to growth initiatives through analysis, modelling, and support for expansion activity where required

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified accountant or studying towards fully-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with management accounting experience
  • A finance professional who is confident managing month-end, reporting, and financial controls
  • Experience working in a multi-entity and/or international environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn financial data into practical insight
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work across finance and non-finance teams
  • Someone who enjoys improving processes, taking ownership, and helping a business scale effectively

This role offers the opportunity to step into a broad and influential finance position with exposure to operational finance, reporting, planning, and business support across an international group. If you are looking for a role where you can combine technical strength with commercial insight and make a visible contribution to a growing business, we would welcome your application.

What’s in it for you?

  • This is a permanent, full-time role with flexibility built in.
  • You’ll be London-based, with flexible hours between 8am–8pm, Monday to Friday, and enjoy a hybrid setup with the ability to work from home up to 3 days per week, balanced with in-studio collaboration, site visits, and project meetings.
  • Ability to request an unlimited number of days off under our “Take What You Need” leave policy
  • Studio closure over Christmas and New Years
  • Annual company bonus scheme
  • Pension auto‑enrolment
  • Monthly live event tickets allowance to stay inspired by the industry we design for
  • Home working contribution towards internet and utilities
  • Private Health Insurance after two years for you and your dependants
  • Laptop and peripherals provided
  • Company mobile phone scheme
  • Cycle to Work Scheme and benefits platform

As you grow with Charcoalblue, so do your benefits – we’re in it for the long term.

Start Date: July 2026

Salary: The salary range for this role is £42,500 - £55,000 per annum for a 40-hour week. Please state your salary expectations in your application in line with your experience.
