Lead, support and shape a unique outdoor nursery. At Chapter One Childcare’s Treetops Outdoor Nursery, we offer a truly unique setting where nature is the classroom and every day is an adventure. We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our leadership team, supporting both outdoor practice and the operational running of the nursery.

About the Role

This is a structured hybrid role:

  • 2 days outdoors supporting children, staff and leading practice
  • 2 days office-based supporting admin, systems, compliance and day-to-day operations

You will work closely alongside the Nursery Manager and step into a leadership role in their absence.

What We’re Looking For

  • BA or PDA Level 9 (or SVQ 4/Level 8 PDA and working towards)
  • SSSC Lead Practitioner registered (or eligible)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Confident both in practice and with administrative responsibilities
  • Passion for outdoor learning and early years

What We Offer

  • £16.65 per hour
  • £0.60 per hour outdoor working supplement
  • 4-day working week (40 hours)
