This role is all about owning and growing performance-focused creative across paid social channels for a fast‑moving health brand. You will take work from idea through to final delivery, creating scroll‑stopping visuals that both build the brand and drive measurable results across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and CRM touchpoints such as email. You will join a small, ambitious team where the quality of work really matters, and where you’ll be trusted to get stuck in, collaborate closely, and ship creative at pace.
Duties include:
- Paid social and Content Design: Develop striking image and video assets for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and display, tailoring each piece for various formats including stories, reels, carousels, banners, and on‑site placements.
- Video Editing: Cut, refine, and version short‑form video in CapCut or After Effects, adding captions, supers, and end frames that align with each platform’s specs.
- Motion Design: Create lightweight animations and motion templates in After Effects for social campaigns and product‑focused content.
- Image Sourcing and Generation: Curate and produce visuals using stock, UGC, partner materials, or AI generation tools such as Midjourney or Nano Banana.
- Asset Production: Prepare ad and toolkit files in Photoshop for efficient delivery and deployment.
- Dynamic Product Ads: Design and maintain DPA templates for paid channels and collaborate with Growth to fuel rapid creative testing.
- Creative Research and Ideas: Turn insights into creative opportunities, build mood boards, run quick experiments, and propose new test directions.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain asset libraries, templates, and brand guidelines to ensure cohesive execution across all channels.
- Collaboration: Partner with Growth, Product, Brand, and CRM teams to produce consistent, on‑brand storytelling.
You will also be expected to check and manage the quality of work of another designer.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in visual design roles (in‑house or agency), with a portfolio that highlights paid social, short‑form video, and web work.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.
- Confident video editing skills (CapCut or After Effects) and a solid grounding in motion design fundamentals.
- Comfort using AI image generation tools such as Midjourney or Nano Banana.
- Strong understanding of Meta, TikTok, and YouTube formats and best practices; confident iterating and delivering creative at speed.
- Excellent visual judgement, image sourcing, and retouching ability, plus meticulous file organisation.
- A data‑informed approach, you use performance metrics to shape creative decisions.
- Clear communication, accountability, and a proactive approach to working in a fast‑paced environment.
- If you have experience directing copy or shaping campaign concepts this would be advantageous.
