The Mission
The Head of Social Impact will be the architect of how uses its platform, capital, and influence to create measurable change in people's lives. You will help turn our mission of "healthier, happier humanity" from aspiration into action. Your mission is to design and lead a social impact strategy that is integrated, authentic, and scalable. You will leverage our media reach (70M+ monthly listeners), investment capital, and community to create opportunity for underrepresented communities, democratise access to knowledge, and prove that building iconic businesses and driving social impact are not mutually exclusive.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Integration
- Embed impact into business strategy and investment decisions, not as separate function
- Create transparent impact reporting demonstrating tangible outcomes
- Develop comprehensive social impact framework with measurable goals across Media, Incubator, and Fund
- Media for Good
- Partner with Media team to create educational content addressing social challenges (mental health, financial literacy, entrepreneurship)
- Expand partnerships like His Majesty's Prison Service to reach underserved audiences
- Measure media impact beyond reach: track behaviour change and life improvements
- Entrepreneurship & Economic Mobility
- Design programs increasing access to entrepreneurship for BAME, women, and underrepresented founders
- Build partnerships with schools and community organisations creating pathways into business
- Create mentorship and accelerator programs leveraging network
- Community Programs & Partnerships
- Build flagship programs creating tangible opportunity (apprenticeships, fellowships, grants)
- Develop strategic partnerships with nonprofits, educational institutions, and government agencies
- Design community events bringing our audience together around shared values
- Fundraising and Impact Investing
