The role involves treating social media as a platform for showcasing our point of view in the market. You'll own the Chapter 2 LinkedIn page, the new C2 Network Slack community, and the marketing of every C2 event. You'll set the channel strategy for two sister businesses (FTL and SGNL) and decide which new channels to open (Instagram, TikTok, etc.). You'll write, film, edit, ship, measure, and adjust while working closely with the founders.

What you'll own:
- C2 events marketing
- Pre-event promotion: Build the audience for every C2 event through landing pages, email sequences, paid social, and LinkedIn campaigns.
- Live capture: Be present or coordinate who is. Capture photos, video, soundbites, and quotes.
- Post-event repurposing: Turn one event into multiple assets such as LinkedIn posts, carousels, video cuts, case studies, and testimonial graphics.
- Pipeline integration: Work with sales to convert attendance into pipeline through follow-up sequences and targeted nurturing.
- C2 Network community
- Moderation and contribution: Daily ownership of community channels, welcoming members, enforcing guidelines, and posting regularly.
- Programming: Run a calendar of themed discussions and coordinate leaders into the right channels.
- Growth and onboarding: Work with business leaders to manage the invite funnel and onboard new members properly.
- Content contribution: Pull insights and themes to create talking points.
- Measurement: Track active members, posts per week, and retention, reporting monthly and optimising channels accordingly.
- The Book, FTL and SGNL marketing support
- Social strategy and execution for both businesses, ensuring separate brands and audiences.
- Cross-promotion where appropriate, using sound judgement.

- Strategy and plan: Define the purpose of the page and its target audience.
- Execution: Daily posting, campaign moments, and content capture.
- Paid layer: Manage paid social spend including promoted posts and lead-gen campaigns.
- New channels
- Recommend and make the case for new platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Set up accounts, templates, workflows, and measurement.
- Run the first 90 days of any new channel to prove success.
Who we're looking for:
- Five or more years running social for a B2B brand, agency, or high-profile founder.
- Experience managing owned channels at scale with proven results.
- Strong writing skills are essential for creating captions, hooks, post copy, and video scripts.
- Ability to film and edit content effectively.
- Commercially literate, understanding that social media is a means to achieve goals like pipeline and brand recall.
- Ability to work quickly and adaptively.
