Role Summary

Position: Director, People & Culture (12-month FTC potential to perm)

Reporting to: CEO

Location: Hybrid

Who you are:

You’re equally comfortable in strategy and delivery, blending human insight with operational rigour. You care deeply about enabling people and teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients while creating a workplace where everyone can thrive and achieve their full potential.

What you will do:

  • Adopt, deliver, and evolve the existing People & Culture strategy and operating plan, ensuring it continues to align with Chapter 2’s growth ambitions and maturity curve.
  • Bring the People & Culture Target Operating Model to life, embedding the systems, accountabilities, and rhythm already defined across the organisation.
  • Translate strategy into practice by ensuring frameworks, capability plans, and performance systems are clearly understood and consistently applied across Enabling Functions and client-facing teams.
  • Build on the foundation already established, refining and strengthening scalability, operational efficiency, and cultural cohesion as the business grows.
  • Partner with the Leadership Team to connect culture, capability, and performance with business results, ensuring People & Culture remains an active enabler of client success.
  • Coach and develop leaders to take full ownership of people and performance, embedding accountability and clarity into every interaction.
  • Maintain and enhance the Human Operating System, using people data and insight to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Adapt the strategy and frameworks for global context, ensuring consistency while allowing flexibility to meet local and client needs.
  • Collaborate across Enabling Functions to ensure seamless integration between people, operations, and performance.

What We\’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of senior HR / People & Culture leadership experience, ideally within high-growth, scale-up, or entrepreneurial environments.
  • A proven HR strategist with the ability to translate organisational vision into scalable people frameworks, processes, and measurable outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in organisation design, leadership development, talent strategy, and behavioural frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evolving multi-region HR operating models and people strategies.
  • A trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Team—bringing insight, challenge, and sound judgement with confidence and credibility.
  • Strong influencing skills grounded in data, empathy, and commercial understanding.
  • Able to work strategically and operationally, moving fluidly between C-suite conversations and hands-on execution when required.
  • A systems thinker with strong business acumen and a deep appreciation for how culture, people, and organisational design drive performance.
