The practice provides care across the full lifespan, from newborns to seniors. Physicians have autonomy to develop and manage their own patient panel in alignment with their clinical interests. The scope of practice reflects typical community‑based family medicine, with opportunities to cultivate special interests within the practice. The average daily patient volume ranges from 25 to 30 patients. Patient encounters may be conducted in person, virtually, or by telephone, according to physician preference. Appointment length and scheduling are determined by the physician based on clinical judgment, patient needs, and individual practice style.

Recruitment Process

  • Initial Application Review: all applications are assessed through a comprehensive screening process.
  • Talent Partner Review: shortlisted applications are reviewed by a Talent Partner.
  • Introductory Meeting: selected candidates will be invited to an initial discussion with the Talent Partner to explore the role and overall fit.
  • Formal Interview: candidates who progress will meet with the hiring manager to discuss the position in greater detail and assess mutual alignment.
  • Offer Stage: where there is mutual agreement to proceed, an offer letter and employment contract will be issued.

Licensing and Immigration Process

In parallel with the recruitment process, physicians will begin the British Columbia licensing pathway, including registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). Upon completion of source verification and receipt of an eligibility letter from CPSBC, we will initiate the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) to support immigration. This pathway enables physicians and their eligible family members to obtain permanent residency in Canada.
