The role: Senior Talent Partner - Executive Search (Venture Capital)
This global venture platform is hiring a Senior Talent Partner to lead executive hiring for a pivotal Director of Global Development search across EMEA and APAC. The role is fully embedded, operating as an extension of the internal team and directly shaping international expansion.
About the role:
- Partner closely with the in-house executive recruiting team to define priority companies, teams, and roles across areas such as Ads, Discovery/Recommendations and monetisation/platform engineering for large creator ecosystems.
- Run deep intake sessions with recruiting and hiring leaders to clarify success profiles, known "must-know" talent, and existing market knowledge, then translate this into clear research roadmaps.
- Embed full-time into the internal talent team, acting under the company brand in all candidate interactions and communications.
- Use email, ATS and collaboration tools, partnering closely with senior leadership to ensure consistent, high-context messaging throughout every search.
- Own end-to-end recruitment for the Director of Global Development profile across priority markets, from intake and sourcing through interviews, stakeholder management and closing offers.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the full hiring lifecycle: define requirements, build search strategy, source and engage senior talent, run structured assessments, and manage offers/closing.
- Operate as eyes and ears on the ground across key regions (Germany, UK, France, Poland, Nordics, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia), constantly mapping talent pools and keeping a live view of the market.
- Provide regional market intelligence on candidate availability, compensation benchmarks and competitor moves, advising which markets to prioritise and how to tailor offers.
- Build a high-touch, story-led candidate experience, representing the organisation’s mission and track record with credibility to senior leaders and investors.
What you bring:
- 5+ years’ experience recruiting venture and early-stage leaders, especially rare "fundraise – build" profiles where capital raising, company building and ambiguity are core to success.
- Proven ability to read beyond the surface assessing sales ability, stakeholder navigation, resilience, and real commercial outcomes.
- Track record hiring across multiple markets and networks spanning venture, strategy, healthcare and founder ecosystems.
- Fluency in venture models: able to engage senior candidates credibly while balancing that healthcare experience is preferred, not mandatory.
- Strong narrative selling skills: expert at positioning still-evolving roles, translating an established story into compelling local pitches, and co-pitching with senior stakeholders to close top-tier candidates.
Why this role:
- Strategic, global remit: Shape the leadership footprint across Europe and Asia-Pacific for a high-growth health-venture platform.
- Deep partnership with: Work directly with senior executives as a trusted advisor on market entry, sequencing and talent strategy.
