This hybrid role involves collecting redundant IT equipment from clients across the UK, as well as processing and refurbishing equipment at our facility when not on the road. No two days are the same.

Primary – IT Technician & Processing

  • Accurately record, test, and refurbish incoming IT equipment in line with company procedures. This includes capturing serial numbers, device specifications, and condition grading.
  • Carry out functional testing of devices to identify faults and ensure equipment meets refurbishment standards before resale or reuse.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records using our internal CRM system, ensuring all data is entered correctly and consistently.
  • Follow structured processes for handling, tracking, and storing equipment, ensuring full traceability at all stages.

Secondary – Collections

  • Drive a company Under 3.5‑tonne LWB vehicle to collect redundant IT assets from client sites (primarily within 100 miles of base, occasional longer routes).
  • Provide excellent customer service while on‑site.
  • Load and secure equipment for safe transport.

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Experience driving an Under 3.5‑tonne LWB vehicle.
  • Physically capable of lifting, loading, and moving IT equipment safely.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience handling IT hardware (training provided for enterprise equipment).
  • Experience using CRM systems and recording information into CRM / Spreadsheets.
  • High attention to detail is essential – this role involves accurately recording serial numbers, grading equipment, and following strict data handling procedures.
  • This role is not suitable for candidates who prefer fast‑paced work without structure or who struggle with repetitive, detail‑focused tasks.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is processed accurately and in line with company procedures, with a high level of personal accountability.
  • This is a hands‑on, detail‑focused role, with a mix of warehouse processing and driving responsibilities.
  • We are looking for someone reliable, consistent, and takes pride in doing the job properly the first time.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (Schedule may vary depending on collection distances. Overtime available by agreement.) This role is advertised as full‑time; however, part‑time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
