We’re a growing IT reuse and refurbishment business helping companies across the UK securely recycle and repurpose technology. We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on person to join our small team in a varied role involving IT equipment refurbishment, testing, processing, and occasional client collections using a company vehicle. Most of your time will be spent at our facility processing and refurbishing equipment, with occasional travel to customer sites for collections (typically a few times per month). No two days are exactly the same.

This role would suit someone who:

  • enjoys practical, hands‑on work
  • has good attention to detail
  • is comfortable working with technology
  • likes a structured working environment
  • enjoys a mix of independent and team‑based work

Full training is provided for enterprise equipment and internal systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Testing and refurbishing laptops, desktops, servers, and other IT equipment
  • Recording equipment details accurately using internal systems and spreadsheets
  • Capturing serial numbers, specifications, and condition grades
  • Preparing equipment for reuse, resale, or recycling
  • Organising and tracking incoming stock and equipment
  • Carrying out occasional collections from client sites using a company van
  • Loading and unloading IT equipment safely
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service during collections
  • Following company procedures to ensure accurate equipment tracking and handling

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK Manual driving licence
  • Comfortable driving a long wheelbase van
  • Reliable and organised approach to work
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable lifting and moving IT equipment safely
  • Basic IT hardware knowledge or interest in technology
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Experience using spreadsheets, CRM systems, or stock systems is beneficial but not essential

We care more about reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn than experience with every type of equipment.

Important

Due to company vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must currently be aged 25 or over.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Occasional overtime may be available depending on collection schedules. No weekend work or on‑call requirements.

Benefits

  • Stable Monday–Friday working hours
  • Small friendly team environment
  • On‑the‑job training and skill development
  • Staff discounts on refurbished tech
  • Free on‑site parking
  • Overtime opportunities (paid or time in lieu)
  • Opportunity to grow with the business
  • Be part of a company helping reduce e‑waste and extend the life of technology

To show attention to detail, please include the word “Refurb” in your application. If you’re reliable, practical, and enjoy hands‑on work with technology, we’d love to hear from you.
