Chapple & Jenkins are looking for a person to join our busy telesales team. The candidate will play a crucial role in the day to day operations of the company ensuring orders are taken accurately and our customers are handled with TLC. The customer is the life blood of the company so orders need to be dealt with professionally and key information checked in order to start the logistical process which leads to the stock being delivered.
Duties include:
- Taking orders
- Dealing with customer questions and helping where possible
- Selling special offers
- Building sound working relationships with all types of customers
- Liaising with other team members ensuring a smooth workflow
- General office and accounts office duties
There are no necessary educational qualifications for the role. However, you will need to be a lateral thinker, have excellent customer service skills, be polite using Ps & Qs with an understanding of the phrase 'Under promising and over delivering'. It is paramount to manage customers' expectations. The role will require good analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. We are happy to discuss flexibility with regards to start and finish times if there is good reason, for example existing school run duties.
