Job Title : Tractor Operator – Highways & Vegetation Maintenance
Location : Based in Billericay, Essex (jobs up to 1.5 hours away)
Salary : Tractor Operator- £40,000 – £45,000 per annum,
Team Leader (SSSTS) – £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
Shifts : Monday – Friday (Night shifts: 6:30pm – 4:30am; occasional day shifts: 8:00am – 4:30pm)
80-85% of the work is on night shifts – so flexibility is essential. Most nights are job and knock, meaning early finishes once the work is done, and Fridays often finish earlier too.
Please note – You must hold a full UK Driving Licence to be considered for this position
Responsibilities
- Tractor mowing & flail operations
- Ride-on mowing & robotic mowing
- Hedge cutting & brush cutting
- General grounds maintenance & vegetation clearance
Qualifications
- CSCS Card
- ROLO Card (BALI H&S)
- Highways England Passport
- Safety Critical Medical
- Relevant tickets – Brushcutter, Chainsaw, Ride-on Mower, or similar

- End-of-year overtime review – if you work over 2,500 hours, you\\\’ll get paid extra!
- No work on bank holidays or the Friday before a bank holiday
