Position: Research Manager
Location: Bingley
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 Pa
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45-17:00 with 1-hour lunch
Please note – a clean full UK Driving Licence is required for you to be considered for this position.

About the Role:
As a Research Manager, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing client research projects to ensure they meet objectives effectively and profitably. You will disseminate project conclusions through various channels and identify new R&D clients, projects, services, and markets to expand the company\’s offerings. This role also involves guiding, training, and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with clients to develop and fulfil business opportunities.
• Develop innovative systems and delivery methods to meet clients\’ needs.
• Seek a dedicated and proactive Research Manager to join their team.
• Participate in project planning, management, and delivery for both internal and external projects.
• Manage projects from an internal business perspective, ensuring they are registered, tracked, on target for delivery, and invoiced on time.
• Disseminate research findings at seminars, conferences, and educational courses through lectures and practical demonstrations.
Requirements:
Essential:
• University degree or extensive experience in amenity/agriculture.
• Proven experience in applied R&D and project management.
• High technical competency in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Strong staff management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Clean UK driving licence.
Desirable:
• Experience in turfgrass research.
• Exceptional networking skills.
• Interest in sport.
