About the Role
As a Soft Landscaper (Experienced / Team Leader), you will play a crucial role in creating, developing, and maintaining high-end gardens. You will lead a team, work closely with clients, and ensure that every project meets the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new landscapes by preparing and planting new schemes, laying lawns, and tree planting.
- Develop existing landscapes by adding new planting, refreshing borders, and implementing specialist techniques.
- Care for and improve existing gardens through shaping, pruning, and training plants.
- Work closely with clients to help them understand and appreciate their outdoor spaces.
- Lead and mentor a team of landscapers to achieve project goals.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and within project timelines.
Requirements – Essential
- Proven experience in garden maintenance or horticulture.
- Strong plant knowledge and understanding of garden care techniques.
- Level 2 (or higher) qualification in Horticulture.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive, proactive attitude.
Requirements – Desirable
- PA1 / PA6 spraying licence.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Machinery certifications.
