Position: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: £12.21 to £13.25 per hour
Hours: Full-time

With 40+ years in highways maintenance, they bring extensive expertise and hold Lantra qualifications for mobile highway works, ensuring safety and professionalism. They also work with trusted traffic management partners for high-speed roads, overnight operations, and road closures.
About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces to the highest standards. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, and planting.
• Operate and maintain various grounds maintenance equipment.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in landscape construction projects as required.
• Conduct regular inspections and report any issues or necessary repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and the public.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
• Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence, CSCS & SSSTS Card.
