Position: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Luton
Salary: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time

Please note – A full Clean UK Driving Licence is required for you to be considered for this position.

About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining high standards of outdoor spaces. You will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the grounds are kept in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform tasks such as grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, leaf blowing, path clearing, weeding, pruning, watering, and planting.
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist in additional tasks as directed to meet the department\’s objectives.
• Work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a polite and professional attitude, ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements:

Essential:
• Proven experience in garden maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A clean driving licence.
• Sound understanding of health and safety at work.

Desirable:
• PA1 and PA6 certifications.
• Experience with various landscaping equipment.
