Job Title: Greenkeeper
Location: Burford
Salary: £25,500 – £28,500 (Negotiable)
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, weekends included

Please Note – You must hold a full UK Driving Licence to be considered for this position.

Burford Golf Club is a busy private member\’s that is renowned for the high quality of its golf course maintenance.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career as a greenkeeper and who wants to continue to build their knowledge and skills set.

Working closely with the Course manager and his team, the job assists with all aspects of management of the golf course.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Previous experience preferred but not essential as training can be given.
  • Ideally have previous experience as a greenkeeper or senior greenkeeper and qualified, as a minimum, to NVQ level 2, preferably working towards or have gained NVQ Level 3.
  • PA1, 2 & 6a and Chainsaw CS30/31 are desirable.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and highly motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Assist in the daily maintenance and presentation of the course to the highest standards.
  • Operate and maintain greenkeeping machinery and equipment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures, always ensuring safe working practices.
  • Mechanically minded.
  • Good communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings and weekends, as required by the role.
