Hours: March to October - 45 hours, November to February - 32 hours

About the Role: As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will work alongside an Operative to complete a scheduled programme of works to specification. Your role will involve leading and developing your team, managing customer expectations on-site, and ensuring the effective use of commercial grounds maintenance equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering a scheduled round of works.
- Effective management of customers' expectations on-site.
- Leading and developing your team.
- Carrying out horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks.
- Use and maintenance of commercial grounds maintenance equipment.
- Ensuring the van is loaded with the correct kit and sundries as required for the day.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven horticulture knowledge and experience.
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance.
- Ability to use and maintain a variety of commercial grounds maintenance equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- A practical mindset and physical fitness to handle job requirements.
- The means to get to and from work independently.
Desirable:
- PA1 & PA6 spraying certificate.
- Trailer use and experience.
- First Aid Certificate.
