The role and working environment:

This is a diverse and engaging office‑based role that offers the opportunity to gain experience across all departments of the company. Your primary focus will be logistics. You will be working within a logistics team, developing, implementing and managing efficient service routes and schedules for up to 20 lawn care treatment vans across our 4 depots.

This opportunity will provide you with comprehensive training in logistics and sales, enabling you to confidently use the IT systems that support the customer engagement team and logistics operations. Our well‑rounded training programme is designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to advise existing and prospective customers on the full range of TopGrass services.

Required skills:

  • Very good computer skills in order to use the CRM (customer relationship management) software, which is used in customer services and logistics.
  • Professional, customer‑focused interpersonal skills for face‑to‑face and phone interactions with customers.
  • Very good organisational, prioritisation, and attention to detail skills are essential in order to keep track of your tasks within the team and with the routes you will be planning and maintaining.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy to carry out these day‑to‑day tasks – must have GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
  • A‑level qualifications (or equivalent) are preferred for this role.

Hours of Work:

We offer an annualised hours system, which means we are able to provide additional days off at Christmas and New Year in addition to your annual leave allocation. Typical hours of work are 7.30 to 16.00 or 8.00 to 16.30, with a 30‑minute break. Hours increased to 7.30 to 17.00 during the busy time in April and September to allow for additional time off at Christmas and New Year.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £28,000‑ £29,500 per year, depending on experience. We believe in offering a fair and transparent salary, so your individual experience and skills will be carefully considered when reviewing your application and finalising a potential job offer.
