About the Role
As an Astro Turf Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep, cleaning, and minor repair of synthetic sports surfaces across a portfolio of pitches.
You will manage your own schedule, ensuring each pitch is maintained to a high standard using company‑provided equipment, including a van, trailer, and specialist brushes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain 16-18 Astro Turf, 3G, 4G, and synthetic sports pitches.
- Plan and follow a regular pitch maintenance schedule.
- Carry out grooming, brushing, and cleaning of synthetic turf surfaces.
- Use specialist power brushes, drag mats, and synthetic turf maintenance equipment.
- Check and top up sand or rubber infill levels where required.
- Remove debris, litter, leaves, moss, and surface contamination.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience maintaining Astro Turf, 3G, 4G, artificial turf, or synthetic sports surfaces (2 Years).
- Willingness to travel between sites across the North East of Scotland.
- Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to pass a PVG/DBS check and safeguarding references.
Desirable
- Experience with regulartrailer use.
- Experience operating tractors or compact machinery.
