About the Role
In this dynamic role, you'll engage directly with lawn care professionals, landscapers, and contractors on a national level. Your role will be to offer trusted advice, build long‑term relationships, and help customers get the best results from our client's range of turf care and plant health solutions. Expect a mix of on‑the‑road visits, head office collaboration, and remote work. You'll also represent the company at key trade events, demonstrations, and technical meetings across the UK (and occasionally abroad).
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of lawn care and turf customers
- Use your industry knowledge and connections to generate new business and grow existing accounts
- Provide technical advice and tailored turf management solutions to meet customer needs
- Support product development, marketing campaigns, and industry events
- Represent the company at trade shows, demos, and field trials
- Deliver technical support via site visits, phone, and digital communication
Requirements
Essential
- A strong background in lawn care, turf management, or amenity horticulture
- Hands‑on experience or close collaboration with landscapers, contractors, or grounds teams
- A well‑established network within the lawn care or turf industry
- A genuine passion for turf health, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions
- Commercial awareness with a relationship‑driven approach to sales
- Comfortable using CRM systems, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and modern tools
- A self‑starter mindset – organised, proactive, and results‑focused
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
