You’ll manage your own daily service route, apply treatments safely, and offer practical advice to customers on lawn health. We have previously had great success hiring people from delivery driving and other route‑based roles. We operate an annualised hours system, allowing us to offer additional days off over Christmas and New Year in addition to standard annual leave. Typical working hours are 7:30am–4:00pm (30‑minute break). During our busier periods in April and September, hours may extend to 7:30am–5:00pm, helping balance the additional time off later in the year. As this is a field‑based role, you’ll be required to arrive at your first job by 8:00am.
Driving & travelAs a field‑based role, driving forms part of the day‑to‑day work and will naturally vary depending on the service route. The majority of routes are planned with efficiency in mind to keep mileage at a reasonable level. On rare occasions, certain routes may require longer travel distances, including extended round trips, usually due to customer location or seasonal demand. This isn’t a regular occurrence, but we feel it’s important to set clear expectations early on to support long‑term job satisfaction.
