About the Role:

As a Horticulturist / Skilled Gardener, you will perform a variety of gardening tasks, including cutting grass, trimming hedges, weeding, and using a strimmer. You will also assist with deadheading flowers and understanding when to prune them. You will receive hands-on training and support in all aspects of gardening and Christmas installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general gardening tasks such as cutting grass, trimming hedges, and weeding.
  • Use gardening tools and equipment, including strimmers.
  • Deadhead flowers and learn the appropriate times for pruning.
  • Support with day-to-day gardening and Christmas installations.
  • Maintain garden beds, lawns, and other landscaped areas to a high standard.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Essential - Level 3 qualified - RHS or Similar
  • Very good plant knowledge
  • Good experience with Garden Tools
  • Positive attitude and keenness to learn.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour outdoors.
  • A good understanding of gardening tasks.
