Job Type: Monday - Friday (Night shifts: 6:30pm – 4:30am, occasional day shifts: 8:00am – 4:30pm)

About the Role:

As a Vegetation Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining Highways, A-roads, and Motorways across Essex and surrounding areas. This role demands flexibility, as 95% of the work is on night shifts, with the added benefit of early finishes once the work is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ride‑on mowing & robotic mowing
  • Hedge cutting & brush cutting
  • General grounds maintenance & vegetation clearance

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance
  • Flexibility to work night shifts
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • CSCS Card
  • ROLO Card (BALI H&S)
  • Highways England Passport
  • Safety Critical Medical
  • Relevant tickets – Brushcutter, Chainsaw, Ride‑on Mower, or similar
