About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will oversee mobile grounds maintenance on commercial sites. Starting your day at 6am, you will collect your assistant and head to various sites. Your responsibilities will include pedestrian mowing, hedge cutting, strimming, litter picking, and general grounds maintenance. Some sites may also require internal plant care and general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team to perform grounds maintenance on commercial sites.
- Conduct pedestrian mowing, hedge cutting, strimming, and litter picking.
- Perform internal plant care tasks such as pruning and watering.
- Liaise with site clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
- Manage daily schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to start work at 6am and manage early travel.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Desirable
- Experience with commercial grounds maintenance.
- Familiarity with horticultural practices.
- Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance.
