Responsibilities and Requirements Progress towards becoming a Chartered Engineer. Producing basic calculations manually and using technical software. Understanding British Standards and when to refer to them. Awareness of company standards and procedures. Knowledge of Health & Safety in construction; aim to gain CSCS card for site access. Participate in site visits to understand design production. Maintain well-documented projects, including calculations and correspondence. Understand project programs and reading drawings. Use specialist 2D/3D software for system design. Develop understanding of BREEAM and SKA standards relevant to your discipline. Building Physics Calculations & Technologies Dynamic Thermal Simulation Computational Fluid Dynamics Daylight modeling and calculations Understanding Low and Zero Carbon Technologies Educational Details Degree Level 6 Apprenticeship in Building Services Design Engineering. Partnered with London South Bank University. Day release one day per week during term time. Working Hours Monday – Thursday, 09:00 – 17:30; Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.
