We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Architect Project Lead to join our busy studio in London and to develop your career in a well-structured, supportive environment. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious individual. You will enjoy working as part of a team and excellent communication skills are essential.
As a Project Architect you will lead internal project teams as well as effectively communicate and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams:
- Manage planning applications and other regulatory application procedures
- Oversee the project briefs and work on these as the project progresses, reporting to clients and presenting progress clearly.
- Prepare and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD), REVIT, Sketchup, as well as traditional drawing methods
- Lead the detailed technical process and co-ordinate design information using 3D Models and Specifications
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven post-qualification experience as a project lead
- Experience of working on large-scale, complex projects
- Technical proficiency, with experience of developing detailed design through to construction information, including a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
- Commitment to developing high quality design information with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent working knowledge of Revit and Adobe packages including knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp etc.
- Ability to present and communicate technical specifications
- Ability to liaise with other consultants and construction professionals, to create technical solutions and resolve client and contractor queries
- Detailed working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and British and industry standards
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit with experience using it on large scale projects
