Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Graduate/Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team in Manchester. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for interior architecture, spatial design, and detailing. You will support the design team in delivering innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling interiors across a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of design concepts & presentations.
- Support senior designers in developing interior layouts, material specifications, and furniture schedules.
- Contribute to 2D drawings, 3D models, and rendered visuals for client presentations.
- Research materials, finishes, furniture, and fittings to support design decisions.
- Help coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain and update project documentation in line with office standards.
- Attend site visits, surveys, and design reviews under the guidance of senior staff.
- Stay informed on design trends, sustainability standards, and innovations in interior architecture.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in design and drafting software required with knowledge of Revit, in particular, an advantage.
- Proficiency in Visualisation software (e.g. Enscape, SketchUp)
- Proficiency in InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite) required
- Strong eye for detail, colour, and materiality.
- Ability to produce creative sample presentations.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
