We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified architect with project lead experience to join our busy studio in Bristol and develop their career in a well-structured, supportive environment. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious individual who enjoys working as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are essential.
As a Project Lead Architect you will:
- Lead internal project teams and effectively communicate and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Manage planning applications and other regulatory application procedures.
- Oversee the project briefs and work on these as the project progresses, reporting to clients and presenting progress clearly.
- Prepare and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD), Revit, SketchUp, as well as traditional drawing methods.
- Lead the detailed technical process and coordinate design information using 3D models and specifications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven post-qualification experience as a project lead.
- Experience working on large-scale, complex projects.
- Technical proficiency, with experience developing detailed design through to construction information, including a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to developing high-quality design information with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent working knowledge of Revit and Adobe packages, including InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, etc.
- Ability to present and communicate technical specifications.
- Ability to liaise with other consultants and construction professionals, to create technical solutions and resolve client and contractor queries.
- Detailed working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and British and industry standards.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit with experience using it on large-scale projects.
