Senior to Principal Embedded Software Engineers to join a highly skilled engineering team developing advanced embedded, FPGA and real-time systems within a secure and technology-driven environment.

This is an opportunity to work on complex engineering programmes, contributing to the design and development of mission-critical systems across the full product lifecycle.

As a Senior or Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of software development activities whilst working closely with FPGA, electronics, systems and verification teams.

Depending on experience, you'll also have the opportunity to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and influence software architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded software using C/C++
  • Develop software for embedded Linux and real-time environments
  • Support hardware/software integration and system bring-up
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex embedded systems
  • Participate in system verification and validation activities
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Contribute to software architecture, design reviews and technical decision-making
  • Support the delivery of high-quality solutions throughout the development lifecycle
