Chapman Tate Associates are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager with strong expertise in EDI systems—specifically Seeburger.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a contract professional to lead and manage a dedicated EDI development team in a high-impact environment.

Role Overview:
As Software Development Manager (EDI), you will be responsible for overseeing the development, integration, and ongoing optimisation of EDI solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data interchange between partners and internal systems, ensuring project milestones are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience managing software development teams with a focus on EDI.

* In-depth expertise with Seeburger BIS (Business Integration Suite) is essential.

* Strong understanding of data interchange standards and protocols (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML).

* Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements.

* Track record of delivering projects within a structured, Agile or hybrid methodology.

* Previous experience within a contract role operating inside IR35.

Nice to have:

* Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.

* Experience migrating or upgrading EDI platforms.
