The Opportunity

We’re supporting a global organisation undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud transformation, and they’re looking for an experienced SAP APO / IBP Consultant to play a pivotal role in that journey. This is a high-impact position where you’ll take ownership of enterprise supply chain planning solutions—supporting a live SAP APO landscape while leading the transition to SAP IBP. You’ll have the autonomy to shape future-state planning capabilities and influence how supply chain functions operate at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the functional owner for demand, supply, and production planning solutions
  • Lead the transition from SAP APO to SAP IBP, aligned to the S/4HANA roadmap
  • Design, configure, and optimise SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply & Response, S&OP)
  • Transform legacy planning processes into scalable, standardised solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and IT
  • Ensure seamless integration between planning platforms and SAP S/4HANA
  • Support and enhance live planning environments while driving continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP APO (DP, SNP or similar)
  • Proven exposure to SAP IBP, ideally within implementation or transformation programmes
  • Solid understanding of supply chain planning (forecasting, MRP, BOM planning)
  • Experience integrating with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
  • Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders and drive change
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivery
  • Flexibility to travel where required
