Principal Consultant – Epicor ERP
Salary – £100,000 Bonus
Location – Fully Remote with occasional travel to customer sites.

Chapman Tate is recruiting a Principal Consultant to take ownership of large-scale Epicor ERP programmes. This role will suit someone who combines deep technical and functional knowledge of Epicor with strong commercial awareness, outstanding people skills, and proven leadership capability.
You will act as the trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through process change, system optimisation, and ERP transformation. At the same time, you will lead and inspire a team of five Functional Consultants, ensuring successful project delivery and high standards of consultancy.
What We’re Looking For

- Extensive Finance expertise, with the ability to advise senior stakeholders and translate financial requirements into effective ERP solutions.
- Strong client-facing skills, with confidence presenting to and influencing C-suite leaders.
- Hands-on design and documentation experience, producing specifications, process maps, and solution blueprints to a professional standard.
- Proven leadership experience, having previously managed or mentored a consulting team.
- A strong track record of delivering Epicor ERP implementations or major upgrades.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Own the delivery of ERP solutions, from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation and post-go-live support.
- Lead client workshops, capture business processes, and recommend effective system designs.
- Oversee configuration of Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, CRM, and related Epicor modules.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, test plans, and solution sign-off material.
- Ensure projects remain on track with agreed milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coach, guide, and manage a team of five consultants, balancing workloads and supporting professional growth.
- Act as a senior escalation point for functional challenges and client issues.
