An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Agile Delivery Lead / Project Manager to take ownership of delivering complex, high-impact initiatives within a fast-paced Retail/Wholesale environment. This role is focused on driving Agile and Scrum adoption, leading end-to-end product delivery cycles, and enabling teams to fully understand, embrace, and deliver Agile ways of working. You will play a key role in aligning business and technology, ensuring delivery is not only timely and cost-effective but also centred around continuous value delivery and iterative improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full delivery lifecycle from initiation through to go-live and warranty
  • Drive and embed Agile and Scrum frameworks across teams
  • Coach, mentor, and guide teams to improve Agile maturity and delivery capability
  • Support and facilitate core Agile ceremonies where required
  • Manage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Translate delivery progress into clear, commercially relevant insights
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and delivery outcomes
  • Maintain and actively manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks before impacting delivery timelines
  • Apply structured governance while supporting Agile delivery principles
  • Track and manage project financials (GBP)
  • Ensure delivery remains within agreed budgets and highlight variances early
  • Act as the primary point of contact for third-party suppliers
  • Ensure external partners deliver to agreed scope, timelines, and quality
  • Drive business readiness and successful adoption of delivered solutions
  • Work closely with stakeholders to embed change effectively
  • Promote Agile thinking across both technical and non-technical teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience within Retail or Wholesale environments (essential)
  • 7+ years in project/delivery management, including leadership experience
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams and improve Agile delivery maturity
  • Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies (e.g. Prince2)
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, Prince2, Scrum or equivalent) preferred
  • Highly delivery-focused with a strong emphasis on outcomes
  • Resilient and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
