CTA are supporting a growing UK-based ERP consultancy that is expanding its Sage X3 capability. This is a senior, high-impact opportunity for an experienced Sage X3 professional to play a key role in shaping, leading, and delivering Sage X3 services within the business. The successful candidate will initially head up a small team, with a clear plan for growth within the first 12 months. This role combines technical delivery, leadership, and strategic involvement across implementation, pre-sales, and internal enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Sage X3 practice, acting as the senior point of expertise within the organisation.
- Define and own Sage X3 implementation processes and best practices.
- Deliver Sage X3 implementations using Sage’s new scripted deployment package, targeting SME organisations within the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support strategy, positioning, and pre-sales activities where required.
- Act as an escalation point for the support team, providing expert-level assistance on complex Sage X3 issues.
- Drive internal knowledge sharing and mentoring to improve company-wide understanding and capability around Sage X3.
Required Experience
- Proven exposure to manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
- Experience defining or improving ERP implementation methodologies.
- Comfortable operating in a senior, visible role with both technical and strategic responsibilities.
- Ability to support pre-sales activity, including solution design and client-facing discussions.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
