Our client, a well-established semi-public sector organisation focused on mission-critical data centre operations, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team in the Greater London area. This role will focus on the support, monitoring, and optimisation of critical data centre infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on DCIM platforms and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and administer DCIM platforms and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Monitor power, cooling, environmental, and capacity metrics across data centres
- Assist with infrastructure planning, asset management, and operational improvements
- Support data centre changes, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities
- Work closely with facilities, operations, and technical teams to maintain high availability
- Produce technical documentation and support incident resolution activities
Skills & Experience
- Experience working within enterprise or colocation data centre environments
- Strong knowledge of DCIM platforms such as Schneider EcoStruxure, Nlyte, Sunbird, or similar
- Understanding of critical infrastructure including power, cooling, cabling, and environmental monitoring
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience within regulated or highly governed environments and ITIL awareness would be beneficial
