As an RPG Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting RPG-based applications within a fast-paced retail environment:
- Design, develop, and maintain RPG programs for retail business applications.
- Optimise and debug code for performance and functionality improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software on time.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in RPG programming (RPG IV, ILE, and Free Format).
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, including supply chain, inventory management, and sales.
- Knowledge of SQL and DB2 databases.
- Exposure to modern development practices like DevOps, CI/CD, or Cloud Technologies is a plus.
