Chapman Tate Associates are seeking a confident and enthusiastic IBM Power – System p Client Account Director that has experience of selling IBM Power and Storage solutions. Ideally you will have worked with and sold solutions around the following:
- IBM Storage e.g. V7000, Storwize
- System-i, iSeries, AS400, RS6000
- IBM Power based solutions; pSeries, System p
- IBM Mainframe Services
Our client is a Tier-1 Provider of fully Managed IT Services, IOT solutions, Cloud Services and Cyber Security Services. They are premier and recognised partners alongside the likes of IBM, Redhat, HP, Dell and Microsoft.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building excellent customer relationships and sourcing the best solutions for prospective customers to influence their IT strategies. The role will include the following:
- Identifying opportunities and generating new business
- Building and maintaining rapport with customers for future prospects
- Understanding and recommending solutions you have prepared and presented yourself
- Liaising with sales and marketing teams
- Being accountable for achieving your sale targets
- Establishing a strong pipeline of well qualified business opportunities, evidencing understanding and control of customer buying criteria and process
- Establishing strong governance, reporting and effective pipeline management
- Executing effective cross and up-sell initiatives within each client/prospect to increase share of wallet, influence and predict future revenue
Previous experience:
- Experience in selling IT solutions and services
- Experience of working for an IBM Partner
- Proven track record of new business acquisition in IT setting
- Excellent communication skills
