Shape the Future of HR Across Europe
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised technology consulting organisation as its HR Leader for the UK & Europe.
This is a highly strategic leadership position, offering the opportunity to influence people strategy across multiple European markets while partnering directly with senior business leaders and reporting into the Global Chief Human Resources Officer.
Importantly, this is not an HR Operations role. A dedicated global HR Operations function and HR Business Partner team provide operational support, allowing you to focus on strategic HR leadership, governance and business partnership.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in aligning and harmonising HR policies, practices and governance across the UK and Europe, ensuring regional compliance while supporting continued business growth.
Working within a complex global matrix organisation, you'll partner closely with regional executives to deliver an effective people strategy that enables business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership across the UK & Europe on strategic HR initiatives.
- Harmonise HR policies, processes and best practices across multiple European countries.
- Provide expert guidance on UK and European employment legislation and regulatory compliance.
- Lead complex employee relations matters and ensure consistent, compliant outcomes.
- Drive performance management, compensation and talent initiatives across the region.
- Support organisational growth, transformation and change programmes.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency while recognising regional requirements.
About You
We're looking for an experienced HR leader who enjoys operating at both strategic and hands-on levels within a fast-paced international environment.
You will have:
- 12-15 years of progressive HR experience.
- A strong HR Business Partner background.
- Experience within an IT Services, Technology Consulting or Digital Engineering organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and European HR compliance.
- Proven employee relations experience involving complex cases.
- Experience supporting senior executives within a matrix organisation.
- Strong commercial awareness and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Experience influencing and delivering HR strategy across multiple countries.
