🔍 Role Overview
As an HPC Compute Engineer, you will be instrumental in:
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining HPC clusters and supporting infrastructure.
- Ensuring optimal performance and reliability of compute resources across customer environments.
- Supporting high-throughput compute workloads across Linux-based systems.
- Collaborating with research teams, developers, and systems architects to drive innovation.
- Troubleshooting complex systems issues across hardware, OS, and networking layers.
- Automating tasks and improving systems through scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
✅ Key Requirements
We’re looking for individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in managing HPC environments (on-prem, cloud, or hybrid).
- Deep understanding of Linux-based systems (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.).
- Experience with workload managers/schedulers (e.g. Slurm, PBS, LSF).
- Familiarity with parallel file systems (e.g. Lustre, GPFS) and storage management.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar for automation and orchestration.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring tools and job profiling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced technical environments.
Desirable:
