Chapman Tate Associates is partnering with a market‑leading software house to find a talented HPC Compute Engineer to join their innovative team. Our client develops complex computational solutions that drive advancements in finance, life sciences, AI, and more. Their HPC platforms enable users to solve challenging problems faster and more efficiently. Your Role: As an HPC Compute Engineer, you will design, optimise, and maintain HPC infrastructure that powers next‑generation software solutions. You\’ll collaborate with developers and cross‑functional teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and high‑performing. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage HPC clusters. Optimise systems for maximum performance and resource utilisation. Troubleshoot HPC systems and tools. Collaborate with developers for seamless software integration. Stay up‑to‑date with emerging HPC technologies and best practices. Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and capacity planning. Essential Skills: HPC cluster management and scheduling tools (Slurm, PBS, Grid Engine). Linux system administration and shell scripting. Performance tuning for large‑scale compute systems.
