We’re working with an organisation looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to own and evolve their core IT estate. You’ll lead from the front: setting direction, strengthening security, and stepping in when critical issues need senior expertise.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining 3rd line technical authority with ownership of infrastructure projects, vendors, and budgets.
What you’ll get involved in:- Acting as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents
- Owning Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 end to end
- Driving Azure-based infrastructure and cloud initiatives
- Embedding strong security practices aligned to ISO 27001 and GDPR
- Leading infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement programmes
- Managing MSPs and suppliers to ensure service quality and value
- Controlling infrastructure spend and influencing technology investment
- 5+ years’ experience leading or managing IT infrastructure
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, AD & Group Policy
- A solid understanding of security, governance, and compliance
- Confidence working with stakeholders, suppliers, and senior leadership
- A pragmatic, calm approach when things get challenging
