Are you an experienced ERP Pre-Sales Consultant who enjoys understanding a customer's challenges and turning them into compelling software solutions? We’re working with a growing and established ERP and financial software consultancy looking for a commercially minded ERP Pre-Sales Consultant to support its continued growth. This is a highly customer-facing position, working closely with Sales, Consulting and prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. You’ll combine strong ERP knowledge with excellent presentation and communication skills to demonstrate how technology can improve finance and wider business processes.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading discovery sessions to understand prospective customers' business and finance requirements
  • Delivering engaging and tailored ERP software demonstrations
  • Translating business requirements into appropriate solution designs
  • Working alongside Sales and Account Management throughout the sales cycle
  • Running workshops and presentations with Finance Directors, CFOs and other senior stakeholders
  • Supporting RFPs, RFIs, proposals and tender responses
  • Advising customers on how ERP and financial management technology can improve their processes
  • Working closely with implementation and consulting teams to ensure proposed solutions are deliverable
  • Acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you'll have experience with one or more of the following: NetSuite, Oracle NetSuite, Sage, Sage Intacct, Sage 200, Sage X3, iPlicit. You could currently be working as a Pre-Sales Consultant, Solutions Consultant, ERP Consultant, Functional Consultant, Solution Architect or Technical Account Manager. You don't necessarily need to be a career pre-sales professional. We’re equally interested in experienced ERP Functional or Implementation Consultants who regularly run discovery sessions, workshops, presentations and software demonstrations and would like to move further into pre-sales. A Finance, Accounting or Financial Management background would be particularly advantageous.

Location & Travel

We’re ideally looking for someone based in or around the Midlands, providing a good central base for both customer and internal meetings. The position offers hybrid/flexible working, with travel to the North of the UK expected approximately once a month, alongside occasional customer-site travel when required. Candidates based around Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Northampton, Warwickshire or the wider Midlands would be particularly well located.
