Chapman Tate Associates seeks an Epicor / ERP Product Owner to join this established Manufacturer. My client is a household name with an international presence. The successful candidate will be joining an accomplished and experienced team, where you will get to rub shoulders with some seasoned professionals on exciting ERP related projects. Excellent career and personal development prospects.
This role is ideal for an experienced Epicor Consultant, Systems Engineer or Business Systems specialist who wants to move into a strategic Product Owner position, taking long-term ownership of an Epicor Kinetic ERP platform rather than delivering project-by-project consultancy work.
You’ll shape the ERP roadmap, influence business direction, and ensure Epicor continues to deliver value across a distribution, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Take end-to-end ownership of the Epicor Kinetic ERP product
- Define and manage the ERP roadmap in line with business strategy
- Prioritise enhancements, improvements, and technical initiatives based on value and impact
- Translate business requirements into epics, features, and user stories
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external Epicor partners
- Drive continuous improvement across Epicor configuration, processes, integrations, and upgrades
- Move beyond delivery into ownership, optimisation, and strategic decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience as an Epicor Consultant (Epicor Kinetic or other Epicor ERP platforms)
- Desire to move into or further develop within a Product Owner / ERP ownership role
- Industry experience within Distribution, FMCG, or Manufacturing
- Deep understanding of ERP-led business processes (supply chain, operations, finance, production)
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including senior non-technical audiences
- Ability to prioritise work based on business value, not just technical delivery
Particularly Relevant If You Have
- Worked on multiple Epicor implementations, upgrades, or optimisations
- Owned functional areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, or finance
- Acted as a trusted advisor to business users rather than purely a technical consultant
- Exposure to Agile delivery, backlog management, or roadmap planning
Why Make the Move?
- Step away from constant project delivery into true product ownership
- Influence long-term ERP strategy rather than short-term implementations
- Build deeper relationships with stakeholders and see the impact of your decisions
- Opportunity to shape how Epicor is used across the entire business
