We are seeking two experienced Site Supervisors to oversee fire safety and refurbishment works across two school sites in Ashford, Kent. One Site Supervisor will be allocated to each site. The project includes fire alarm and emergency lighting replacements, fire door installations, compartmentation upgrades, fire stopping works, partitions, decorations, and associated making good works.
Key Responsibilities of Site Supervisor
- Supervision and coordination of specialist contractors
- Review, approval, and implementation of RAMS
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are implemented on site
- Liaison with client representatives, school site managers, and project management teams
- Management of site logistics, deliveries, storage areas, skips, and contractor parking
- Monitoring safe use of access equipment and maintaining associated records
- Ensure site cleanliness and housekeeping standards are maintained
- Maintenance of the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan (CPHSP)
- Control of skips including removal and replacement
- Control of site storage, deliveries and contractor parking (in association with the School Site Manager)
- Control of site security, access and egress arrangements
Essential Requirements of Site Supervisor
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- Current First Aid at Work qualification
- Ability to review and manage RAMS effectively
