Chapman Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering leader to manage projects, lead engineering teams and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will oversee engineering projects from concept through to commissioning, working closely with production, quality, maintenance and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering projects from design through installation, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate engineering, quality, maintenance and contractor activities.
- Develop project plans, schedules and resource allocations.
- Prepare and manage engineering documentation, drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning and validation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the engineering team.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Essential Experience:
- 5-10 years engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
